Direct Therapy

For learners who benefit from additional behavioral support, we are offering Naturalistic Behavioral Therapy in an outreach (in-home) and in-center model. NBT is aligned with Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI), which is a comprehensive, research-based approach to early intervention that focuses on promoting the child's overall development in natural settings through play and naturalistic reinforcement. The goal of NBT and NDBI is to provide children with opportunities to learn and develop new skills in the contexts where they will be most useful, such as in the home, community, or classroom. This approach is often used to help neurodivergent children build core skills, and can be tailored to meet each child's unique needs and abilities.

Indie offers in-center speech-language therapy services for learners who benefit from additional support in any area of communication. Our speech-language therapy services are play-based and child-led, honoring the autonomy and interests of each young learner while fostering a safe and nurturing environment for communication growth to flourish naturally. Our dedicated team of providers are trained to support a variety of language processing styles, including analytic and gestalt language processing. Whether it's nurturing expressive, receptive, or social language skills, enhancing articulation, or promoting fluency, we tailor our interventions to meet the diverse needs of each learner.
The Learning Studio
The Learning Studio is a high quality drop-in enrichment program that offers classes, group therapy sessions and community events, each focusing on one of seven core areas of development. Inclusive by design, each session/event is structured to support learners of all ages and stages of development with differentiated curriculum, hands-on learning opportunities, and support staff that are trained to meet each child exactly where they are!

Children between the ages of 16 months and 8 years with and without a diagnosed intellectual or physical disability. These sessions are catered toward children and families who have an existing educational option (whether homeschool or traditional school), but are looking for additional support, enrichment and social opportunities for their children. Many of our sessions are perfect for children who are pre-academic and still building confidence around core areas of development.
Ready to get started?
Our developmental programs have an anticipated start date of Spring 2024. We are actively taking therapy clients and parent consultations in the meantime.
